Why Des Moines is just like New Orleans and Sussex
Missing the Crawfish Festival at the county fairgrounds was a sad moment for me. So I don't think it's mere coincidence that the restaurant we're watching the debate at tonight offers crawfish tails, poboys, and jambolaya. As the photo shows, the tails were both fried and delicious.

I challenge the chefs to a cook-off. The boiled crawfish were pretty sweet, I have to admit. And I mean "sweet" and in super awesome! But none of my food came on plates that were picture-worthy...I must admit....
I am glad to hear that you didn't miss out on the events back home and that Iowa is sweet, as in super awesome.
